hello!lucky studio tour from oh so beautiful paper

Oh So Beautiful Paper posted an inside look at the Hello!Lucky Studio.

"Our studio is located at the tip-top of a Victorian in the Haight Ashbury district of San Francisco, CA. Between these sunlit walls we bounce ideas, dream up projects, and create. It’s the place in which our process unfolds. With good ideas and the not always so good, we have created an environment that encourages conversation and we love it." – Eunice and Sabrina of Hello!Lucky {taken from Oh So Beautiful Paper's original post}

weekly inspiration: slow down, take time by free people blog

We thought the post Slow down, Take time by the Free People blog on September 22 was a very eye-opening piece. It discusses taking time to slow down to enjoy the life you've been given. The post encourages us to truly enjoy the seasons and places around us.

We want to encourage you to do the same. Here are a few simple ways you can learn to live fully each day.

1. Unplug // Do yourself a favor and set aside at least one hour a day to walk away from your laptops and phones. That doesn't mean keeping it in your pocket.
Put it in a safe place and w   a   l   k     a   w   a   y.
Go for a walk or jog outside. Listen to the birds, the cars drive past you. Look at the colors of the leaves. Breathe deeply.

2. Read // Take that book you've been wanting to read and enjoy the crisp Fall weather. Walk over to the park or just sit on the steps of your front porch.

3. Write it down // Sometimes writing is easier for us to feel things we've kept bottled away from our stressful work week. Grab your favorite fall drink or snack (find a couple good ones here and here) and lock yourself away in your den, office, or that chair in front of your fireplace. Write the novel you always tell yourself you don't have time for, or write a book of poetry. Vow to yourself that one day, you'll publish it.

4. Photograph it // On your walk to the train or to work, take along your camera. Stop for a moment and take one picture of something that you think is beautiful.

5. Tell someone you love them // Bring happiness into your own life by helping to create it in others. Text someone you haven't spoken to in a while and let them know you're thinking of them. Or better yet, before you go to bed, write a handwritten note to say hello (here is one of our favorite cards), and pop it into the mail on your way to or from work the next day.
